A shoe-in for royal heel designer?
Seth, 29, says she has had contact from royal quarters indicating that her custom-made, Swarovski-crystal adorned shoes are in the running to grace Kate's feet on Friday. Like everything related to the bride's attire, mum's the word. But Seth's smile speaks volumes.
"I'd like to think we have a good chance," says Seth, whose Indian father is in the shoe manufacturing business, while her Jamaican mother makes wedding cakes. "It would change everything for me. Everyone will want to have a piece of what Kate wore. Everyone wants to be a princess."
The other names bandied about in London fashion circles as possible footwear winners in the Kate sweepstakes include Jimmy Choo and Rupert Sanderson. But Seth is hoping that being relatively unknown, British and the same age as Middleton gives her an edge.
"She'll be lovely in whatever she wears, but just like I don't really see her in a dress by Alexander McQueen , I don't see her choosing something too crazy when it comes to her wedding shoes," she says.
